Success Story :

  • Archana Gaikwad

  • Archana was five years old when she joined Amcha Ghar. Before joining Amcha Ghar, Archana was suffering from lot of problems at her home. She had her mother and other relatives like uncle, grandmother, etc. she loved her mother a lot but her uncle use to harass her mother for money. Her uncle use to fight with her mother. And so because of the torture, one day Archana’s mother committed suicide. No one came to help her mother accept her grandmother. Archana saw her mother dying in front of her eye due to which she was in a trauma of loosing her mother. She couldn’t accept the reality of her mother’s death. After her mother’s death there was no one to look after her. Later on she was brought in Amcha Ghar. Her younger sister Priya was staying in Amcha Ghar before she joined Amcha Ghar. The Founder and the Foundress gave her parents love. She opened up herself with other inmates. Amcha Ghar not only helped her to get proper education but also gave her an opportunity to learn new. She was given vocational training like tailoring. She use to stitch dresses for other inmates. After completing her education she was appointed as a teacher in Amcha Ghar School. She learnt to be happy in life and also could face the world now. After completing her education and making her career, this was the time for her to look for a life partner and get settled in her life. She got married in the month of Jan 2011. She is living happily married life and also thanks Amcha Ghar for giving her a good life.
